Ultimo Coffee

Aaron and Elizabeth Ultimo, the owners of Ultimo Coffee, met in a Washington D.C. café and decided to move to Philadelphia to open their café. They opened the South Philly café in the Newbold district in 2009 and later opened the Graduate Hospital neighborhood’s café. Ultimo Coffee Rittenhouse opened in December 2017 near historic Rittenhouse Park. In March 2019, the big brand-new café and bakery opened in Germantown. Our mission has always been to serve the highest quality coffee while learning about and understanding four amazing neighborhoods. Ultimo Coffee was born in 2016. We are now Ultimo Coffee Roasters. We can roast and pick our coffee, then bring it to you. What motivates us is our love for coffee, excellence, and service. We are appreciative and humbled to be able to offer you these things. Ultimo Coffee is one of Philadelphia’s first speciality coffee chains. We are proud to be part of this lively, extensive, and growing cafe culture. We donate 5% every quarter to causes and organizations that matter to us. We believe they are very effective in their work. We donate to ACLU, NAACP, Black Lives Matter PHL, and others. We give money to UNICEF, Nationalities Service Center (HIAS), International Rescue Committee, and Planned Parenthood. Email us if you want to be considered for our quarterly donations.
