Dr. Jeffrey Antimarino American Board of Plastic Surgery Certified--Dr. Antimarino is an expert in cosmetic, plastic, and reconstructive surgery with his multiple certifications. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, part-time Allergan Medical Aesthetics consultant, and is a member of the American Board of Aesthetic Cosmetic Surgery. His Background Dr. Antimarino earned his medical degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and his undergraduate degree from Pepperdine University in Malibu. Dr. Antimarino completed his training in plastic and general surgery at the University Of Southern California, where he also learned the art of working with pregnant women from his female mentors. USC has one of the most extensive bariatric centers in the United States, which was well-developed during his general surgery training. This training helped him understand patients with weight issues and the journey they go through to maintain their weight after weight loss. He received extensive training in plastic surgery, including breast reconstruction, weight loss reconstruction, burns, and birth defects. Dr. Antimarino received numerous awards and honors during his USC training. At USC Dr. Antimarino became an Assistant Professor after completing his residency in 2001. He taught residents and medical school students about new techniques in burns and plastic surgery. During this time, he was hired by a very well-known and prestigious private practice in Santa Monica, California, to help them build their practice. Dr. Antimarino spent the next five years building his own practice while also working at USC. For Dr. Antimarino, this was a rewarding experience. However, this was hard to keep up with as he and his wife, Ella, started their family. Dr. Antimarino left USC in 2006 to focus on his own private practice. He specializes in aesthetic and reconstructive surgeries for the breast, weight loss, and other aesthetic procedures.
