La Prima Espresso Company - Downtown La Prima Espresso Co. was established in 1988 by Sam Patti. His plan was to service and sell commercial espresso machines in a showroom in The Strip, a New York City market and restaurant historic district. The showroom evolved into an espresso bar with full service and became one of the most popular Pittsburgh destinations. You can find the original La Prima Espresso at 21st Street & Penn Avenue. Our lovely caffe is located near the Convention Center at 11th Street & Smallman Street. We also have caffes at Wean Hall and the Gates Hillman Center if you're near Carnegie Mellon University. In Manchester, on the North Side of Pittsburgh, you can visit our caffes. Torrefazione La Prima roasts over twenty varied kinds of coffee. We sell our espresso and coffee to restaurants, caffes, and markets nationwide. You can buy our espresso and filter coffee on laprima.com, and we will deliver freshly roasted coffee to your door. We deliver Monday through Friday in 1-pound bags. We at Heart and La Prima are dedicated to providing exceptional service, and our customers love it (and so do we). According to Pittsburghers, a visit to La Prima Espresso Co. is like a mini-trip to Italy but without the hassle of leaving the country. So please remember La Prima Espresso Co.

The La Prima Espresso Company customers reved the coffee shop. The location is convenient and had a good street parking but there were limited to-go orders. The atmosphere was nice too and the people they served the coffee are also impressive. A National Student had said that "This place made me feel right at home even when I was miles away from home. They had great music and was good at making amazing espresso drinks. Also the cappuccinos were always flowers and hearts and the local baked goods were amazing as well." There was however the negative review where Cabrinha had this to say "It’s just coffee shops but their staff’s attitude is juts not the best. Why not bring your customers cupcakes even if it is your birthday" The other review is "The cappuccinos here put every other cappuccino I’ve ever had to shame. The coffee flavor is not watered by the milk but rather complemented in the perfect ratio. The foam is always thick, velvety, luxurious but not “dry” or too bubbly, and the latte art is always on point. I have occasionally had them when its super busy like the day before thanksgiving years ago, and it did take a bit for my drink, but there was never a time when it wasn’t absolutely worth it. The rare occasion that I don’t feel like coffee, I’ve gotten a chai, which is milky and sweet with a strong chai flavor. Also, all the pastries are delicious, especially the ones with almond paste filling." LaPrima Coast to Coast is a Las Vegas restaurant that is indepnedent. Rich and smooth cup is coming! The seasonal drink gave him an opportunity to try several different drinks. His favorite was the spiced honey latte, which I got hot because it was less than 100 degrees. The drink wasn’t too hot and I didn’t have to wait to start sipping! My husband got the peach mule tea and loved it - he doesn’t even like tea! Just to close this review—that was long!—we bought several pounds of coffee to take back with us to Colorado. All very delicious. If you fly Vegas Airways, check them out; thank you, La Prima!"contexts is not a user-friendly place only. There had negative feedback from one of the Yelp customers who had this experience. She said "Like a true Philly native, one of the first things I'm looking at is the quality of customer service. There's no kind way to say this - customer service speaks for itself, within the first week of opening, the Echo Park location was out of cold brew and oat milk for more than two days and the email responses were very harsh and stated that they don't know when they will have them in stock again even though their distributor had both in stock, correct, and no other customers were displeased by this." This is how he ended his review "At least the customer service is usually kind and understanding; the Echo Park location often has no idea of what's going on and do not seem prepared or trained on how to properly handle lacking inventory. Definitely second-guessing coming here from now on, which is a shame because I really do enjoy my interactions with barista, and would prefer to spend my money at a place that at least upholds their brand’s standard of customer service." The overall rating of the company was 2/5 stars. The management and the employees will need to create a standby method of dealing with inventory issues whenever they arise.
