Pittsburgh CLO was a forward-thinking organization that made a dream come true when it opened in 1946. The original idea to establish a nonprofit arts organization that would bring live music theatre to the Pitt Stadium in 1946 came to life after ten years of struggle. In the decades since, Pittsburgh CLO has built a reputation as one of the most respected regional theatres across the nation. Our community's unwavering dedication has been reflected in the 200,000 patrons who attend our programs annually. Pittsburgh CLO has introduced the critically acclaimed summer season every year, boosting the careers of many emerging talents and attracting some of Broadway's most distinguished entertainers to Pittsburgh. However, our mission requires us to do more. Pittsburgh CLO offers year-round entertainment through the CLO Cabaret, delivers unparalleled performing arts training at the Pittsburgh CLO Academy, and offers invaluable educational opportunities for the community. The Gene Kelly Awards, which honor young performers and provide opportunities for artists to perform on the stages of the CLO Construction Center for the Arts, are some of these programs. Our company has a deep commitment to the American musical arts. We are dedicated to creating and distributing new musicals for audiences around America, including regional theatres, Broadway, and Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh CLO has been involved in 22 Broadway productions as an investor or producer, allowing viewers to watch beloved musicals such as The Addams Family (and Evita) live on Broadway at the Pittsburgh CLO stage. In 2014, Pittsburgh CLO made its debut on the world stage with An American In Paris at Theatre du Chatelet (Paris, France). It had an extraordinary artistic team led by Christopher Wheeldon, who won 12 Tony Awards (r) for his choreography and directing. The musical was Pittsburgh CLO's first Broadway production. Local audiences have enjoyed many world premieres at CLO Cabaret, and our local audiences will continue to experience the most recent musical theatre premieres, in addition to the company's efforts at the Pittsburgh CLO's SPARK festival. This has continued for many generations by ensuring that the finest Broadway musicals are available to local audiences. artists and students had more chances to make new Broadway musicals.

CLO Academy is highly praised by students and parents alike. Not only does it teach acting, dancing, and singing, but it also creates a welcoming environment. The reviews even mention that the students are able to discover friends and their people and are encouraged by teachers. The CLO logo is revived. All in all, it was a very welcoming experience for most parents and students. Staff and faculty were great in assisting students. All in all, CLO Academy is a fantastic place to go and it must be acknowledged that it is even more suitable than school with some students.
