AS220 Project Space Gallery

AS220 Project Space Gallery is a gathering of Rhode Island residents committed to preserving studios and galleries as well as performance, educational, and residential spaces. A place where artists can express themselves regardless of their backgrounds, the forum is open to all and will not discriminate artists based on their work as long as it is their own. Anyone who needs space can rent rooms, including those who cannot afford them. The gallery believes all humans are creative, so everyone can be an artist. However, we do not subscribe to the dogma of Westernized or commodified art. Our staff must seek different paths and adopt new ideas due to their changing needs. Naturally, AS220 is inspired by our creativity as artists. The gallery continuously strives to strengthen the community across various societal spheres. We aim to have meaningful experiences with our audiences, colleagues, community members, and artists. We also strive to maintain connections we have made. Volunteers are welcome, and we appreciate everyone who dedicates their time, abilities, and knowledge to help us with our goals.
