My fascination and fascination with glass began in 1981. This was when I received my first blow-pipe from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I moved to Providence in 1987 with a friend after growing up in Wisconsin. We opened a studio together. I consider my work as a hobby, and I am thankful that I can earn money by doing it. Purchasing a building in 2006 was a significant development since I then built a studio that was solely mine. I currently employ several people with Ian Gianlorenzo, the principal hot-glass helper. Ian’s glass-blowing experience spans 12 years. Dennis Delomba, a shop manager, takes care of everything from shop maintenance, packaging, and shipping to billing and model-making. Mark Ducharme helps me in grinding, polishing, and sandblasting. Luke Jon Bernfeld drops in occasionally to help with any project we might be handling. My work is nature-inspired. At the studio, the furnaces and ovens heat up quickly. Typically, I arrive at the studio and start an average workday by drawing Or sketched the image I have in mind on chalk on the ground. The chalk drawing becomes the outline of the object I want to make. We use drawings and communication to make objects that we have planned. We dedicate a full day to creating one kind of object, such as flowers, fish, or vases. We then experiment with different styles, colours, and techniques. We may create a new object each time we work in the studio, which enhances our level of creativity. I have been making my own darned colored glass for many years. In my prefused glass, I add metal oxides to produce a variety of colour combinations. In addition to commercially available glasses, we are able to experiment with a variety of colors, including hundreds of other colours. My practice does not include measuring things. I have adapted the amount of colorant to add by learning from my experiences. If things don't work out, I adjust my processes and things just work out as they should.

Review most about Gallery Belleau generally have a strong theme of the outstanding selection and quality of glass arts available at the shop. Several users have commented on the relatively friendliness of the entire shop as well as the generously priced gift items and in more generalized home decoration. Members also applauded the wonderful service and friendliness of the store owner, Chris, who surpassed all expectations. Although a few writers felt that the art pieces at the store were too expensive and that the shop's hours are really limited, with uncertain hours of operation, the dominance of the positive comments leads to a high volume of visitors who typically report that they have found plenty of items they want to buy. Even the use of gift shop cliches such as the comparison of the store to aisles of candy reveal a general appreciation of the Gallery Belleau and its promise to revisit.
