Children's Ballet Theater

Summer Workshops, Camps, and Shows for Kids & Teens at Children's Ballet Theater & Memphis Youth Musical Theater in East Memphis! Children's Ballet Theater offers a summer program for students aged 2.5 years to 18, college students, and adults. Classes include French and Russian Classical Ballet, Musical Theater, Jazz Dance, Contemporary, Modern, Tap, Lyrical, Acting, and Vocal Training and Coaching. Students of all dance levels are welcome at our school. The Cannon Center hosts the annual Children's Ballet Theater Nutcracker, a performance by students and professionals. Mary Van Dyke, a former ballerina, enjoys watching her students grow and become lifelong friends. The instructors motivate students and teach classical ballet discipline. Instructors at Memphis Youth Musical Theater provide workshops for teens and children learning to act, dance, and sing. Shows include Annie, High School Musical, Matilda, Wizard of Oz, and Annie Summer Worshops.
