Cornerstone Learning Center

We strive to be the example you want for your child and we are dedicated to offering exceptional preschool experiences. Our mission is to create a safe and Christian environment where children can prosper and learn. The Lord placed in Mechele Rodgers heart a deep desire to work in early childhood education 2001 and to build and own preschools that honor Him. We started the journey in preschool ownership with Cordova Christian Learning Center in 2002. In a few short years, we outgrew the location, and Mrs. Rodgers prayed fervently for God's guidance. Cordova Christian Academy was born in 2009, and we moved into a new facility after relocating our school. We have served over 300 kids ages six weeks to sixth grade. The Lord led me to carve out a place of my own at Cornerstone Learning Center. With the founding of Cornerstone Learning Center in 2012, we began our presence in the greater Memphis area with five locations, and split the moving K-5 program in 2013 into its new location.

Cornerstone Learning Center is greatly loved by parents because it has caring, competent staff and it guarantees the safety of every child. The company has a supportive, active communication system. Children excel academically and the first-class staff fosters loving, nurturing learning which enriches children's heart. Parents laud the Covid-19 changes. Children are very happy and communicate, as various stories affirm. Every parent drew satisfaction from selecting Cornerstone. The facility reaches the standards expected from a child-care facility. This includes being a welcoming environment and having a highly skilled set of staff. There are many stories of nervous, anxious, caregivers who have been comforted by their friendly, caring environment. The children are better people emotionally and academically after interacting with the special group at Cornerstone. The result is a group of many of the upcoming pupils being well-advanced in their academic and emotional progress.
