At Kumon of MEMPHIS-SOUTHWIND, we are the world's largest after-school math & reading program for all ages of children. We offer in-center sessions and virtual classrooms. But our staff and children's safety is our top priority. Parents must treat the guidelines with respect and obey all state and CDC regulations. Classes at the center are open. Still, virtual classes are still being offered for those who are not comfortable. Our contactless pickup/drop-off will continue for worksheets. In-center and virtual parent orientations are also being offered. You can schedule a placement exam for your kid, whether online or in person, or arrange for us to pick up the test directly from your center by contacting our office

Parents have expressed that Kumon has been a positive experience, reflected by their children's improvements and growth. The structure and repetition in the center's program appear to be aligned with their teaching strategy to help kids comprehend concepts. A mom noticed her eldest's improvement, scoring the best in Math and Reading sections of the ACT in all subjects taken. She also stated her concerns and said that the kids were happier attending the center. Most kids were more than pleased with the course's simplicity and how they became independent learners in the long run. Even they had confidence and were happy with their performance, so the center has a great role in more than just tutoring and understanding what you are taught. It drove parents to continue their experience with Cordova and Southwind centers even after 8 years. With this positive feedback, people are sure that Kumon has formed a good foundation for high school. Parents have been motivated to invest in this center more for the kids since it has helped them know what their children are capable of. Most kids said that their learning pace and goals had benefits and were ahead of the subjects they were being taught at school. The other parent has just started, but one year down the line, and the children have shown consistent improvement. But the struggling moms had high hopes that her daughter would realize the importance of Kumon even though the baby hated the center for now. Most parents reviewing said that they expect their kids to know and appreciate Kumon in the future, even if they may not like the idea of learning and tutoring at their tender ages since they are motivated and confident people.
