The Doghouse School

At The Doghouse School (TDS), every child gets a bag, journal, and folder with their names printed. This school gear is given to each pupil at TDS to highlight their individuality. We welcome parents to let our front desk staff know if your child’s school gear got damaged or if you need it replaced. Encouraged Journalling Our pupils will be encouraged to fill out their journals (which have the day, announcements, and their drawings) with information. Moreover, parents are encouraged to ask their children in the evening if each of them has any update for the parents to know (TDS hopes to keep parents updated on children’s school performance and behavior). Learning Success Keys At TDS, our pupils can earn up to 20 badges for schoolwork (just like boy/girl Scouts) by participating in the homework and paw art. Our pupils are advised to participate and be rewarded with these badges so they can be recognized for their progress in the new school. Free Play Areas Our pupils can chill under the misters or go swimming, dig in the mulch, or play tag for 5 minutes outside during the recess. The water play area allows children to swim or cool down while the mulch area provides a place for tiny hands to dig and play. The tag game also allows the kids to run and interact with each other, promoting a healthy growth and development in each of our pupils.
