About this business

Greater Goods Coffee began in East Austin, a place where we source coffee from around the globe, roast it to perfection, and offer a cup of Southern hospitality. Collaborators Trey Cobb, Khanh Trang, and their team opened the shop's doors in 2015. Its mission is to give back to the community with every roast they make. They have three non-profit partners. Whenever you buy a 12-ounce bag, the company donates a portion of the sale to these organizations. The company is also committed to education. Its state-of-the-art training facility can host courses on coffee preparation, Specialty Coffee Association Modules, cuppings, team-building, and more. Greater Goods was named Micro Roaster 2021 by Roast Magazine and has consistently ranked among CoffeeReview's top roasters in the United States and Food & Wine. Tampa-based Q-graders, who specialize in sensory evaluation, select 90+ Point Specialty Coffees on quality instead of country or variety. Micro-farms around the world cultivate coffee that is responsibly sourced. A cup of coffee is made more delicious by the right roasting. Individual roasting recipes are created for each batch of coffee once it arrives from the producers. Food & Wine Magazine praised us as the best coffee in Texas for 2019.
