Hael & Hounds

Our goal at Hael & Hounds is to improve the relationship between you and your dog by helping you communicate with one another. Through clear communication, we aim to inform owners of how they can appropriately assert themselves, yet remain calm using a balanced training approach. We believe that by educating confident and knowledgeable dog owners, we can form a stable and long-term relationship. All breeds, all ages are allowed. Sophie started her dog training career in 2014 at Spirit Ranch Dog Training, Tulsa, OK. She was trained by the Animal Behavior College, which piqued her enthusiasm. She managed Spirit Ranch's daycare and was the lead trainer. Sophie then attended Starmark Academy for Certified Canine Trainers & Behavior Specialists in August 2018. She was excited to learn more about dog training. Service dogs, socialization and scent detection are Sophie's specialties. She has been inspired by dogs since she was a child. She promises to love your dog and treat them as her own. She also holds a Certification in Canine Behavior and Training, is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals, and the International Association of Assistance Dog Partners. Sophie bought her first Doberman in the summer of 2015, which she fell in love with even more. A medical alert dog, Hael, trained under Sophie, died after being diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy two years later. Hael & Hounds was launched in his memory. Sophie now has four dogs: Poppy, a Karakachan; Echo, a Belgian Malinois; and Ari, a Boxer.

Sophie and Hael & Hounds Dog training came highly recommended by her customers . The courses that she offer are insightful, exciting and have the right dose of fun for your pet, as seen with the 4-month-old Harley. Sophie shows a deep love for dogs and has all the right qualities. Trusting her with the 8-year-old and four-month-old has been the best decision I have ever made for my dogs. They now have close bonds with each other and well behaved traits. Corgi underwent an intensive training and a behavior change program and came out more confident, relaxed and well-behaved. He immediately got along with other pets around and voluntarily participated in the agility course. This fosters my ability to trust Sophie with other pets and I am able to leave my corgi under her care whenever I am away. Sophie is incredibly wise and understands the pet's intuition. Hael & Hounds provides a loving and caring atmosphere where dogs can train and have fun. I highly recommend Sophie and her team to anyone who wants to bond with their pet or if you want to train your dogs to be the sweetest companions.
