ABOUT   Services Excellence Summary

Twenty years of experience have helped Kim Roche develop simple, effective, and compassionate dog training methods. Lee Mannix first employed her as an apprentice at his Lee Mannix Centre for Canine Behavior in 2001. She branched out in late 2004 to solely pursue her teaching and training approach when she founded Kim the Dog Trainer. As one of only 200 certified dog behavior consultants worldwide, she meets the rigorous requirements of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants. Kim strongly believes in education and skill-building. Kim has trained with many top trainers and behaviorists and even traveled to England with John Rogerson for an intensive course on dog aggression and behavior. When she has available time, she also attends seminars and conferences to remain current. She recently became Austin's sole Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer after completing an intensive course with Malena DeMartini-Price. Along with her Fear Free handling techniques, she is an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator.
