Benavides Driving School

Benavides Driving School is a licensed and bonded driving school in Texas. The Texas Education Agency Department of Public Safety and TCADA has approved our courses. Benavides Driving School began in 1975. Pedro "Pete" Benavides started by himself as a driving instructor. Pete only had one instructor in the classroom, one car, and a desire to see others drive, and he was the best out there. Regardless of how hard it was to teach a beginner that was new to driving, he taught them what they needed to know. He would make sure his student passed their tests because he would not give up on them. The look on a first time driver's face when they pass their written or driving tests would be the best thing. Benavides Driving School was started by a family. We are strongly rooted in creating safe, responsible, and good drivers over 42 years in the making. Pete always said that he would provide driving lessons to anybody that did not know how to drive. In the teenage and adult courses, he always believed that anybody could learn how to drive with B.D.S. This belief is still what we believe in today.
