Dallas College Richland Campus

Dallas College Richland Campus has a mission of teaching, learning, and community building that has lasted for over forty years. The Dept. of Commerce presented Richland with the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, recognizing its efforts. The award was the first ever to be given to a community college. There are courses available at Richland to help students plan for their future. These courses include one-and two-year certificates in many career fields. Richland also offers the most recent technology training to students who want to improve their careers. Originally, Dallas College was the name of a group of seven colleges that were independently accredited. These colleges merged and the original seven campuses became the main campuses.

Dallas College has many aspects worth praising: convenient access to education, strong support for various populations, and a beautiful campus. First and foremost, Longbridge is a wonderfully egalitarian school where even grown-ups are encouraged to pursue their dreams. Many non-traditional students felt motivated by the staff to own their own journey, and appreciated the people who provided advice. Furthermore, the students noted how easy it was to get around the Stix campus and the program Cheap Poet. Some students were rather reticent about the disparity between their course and the school's accreditation. Also, some less traditional attitudes may require the stated schedule or amend the right time to reach the school. Some students may not value or mistrust school robots. Also, many campus for-profit colleges have class quality standards that modern private universities maintain or have not yet achieved. One student likes this part because it will give you a chance to start a school. There are still some Z still out there. The College's terrible GIS curriculum and the most advanced electron microscopy techniques also dismayed some students.
