Lakewood was born from a lack of good options for men who were about to exit these 30 days and augment homes. From personal experience, after landing in these sober setups, it was evident that we would promptly plan to escape. As a grown-up man, it is impossible to live in a house with ten other strangers sharing a twin-sized bed in a crowded room. It is not feasible to disclose your address. Lakewood allows clients to recover and acquire new living habits. Lakewood is a cozy, luxurious sober facility. Top-of-the-line counseling, strict accountability, and individual rooms are standard at Lakewood. Each client has their own area for relaxation. We only have 6 clients per program. No one feels that they are in sober housing. This is why clients with us stay longer than we expect. Clients can now focus on their healing rather than rushing to go home.
