SafeSplash Swim School of Garland emphasizes that swimming is a vital life skill. You could wait until your child can walk on their own before enrolling in swimming lessons, but there are many reasons why swimming early, including infant aquatics, is beneficial. Accidental drowning in children under 4 is 88% less likely in children taking swimming lessons. It is only reasonable for parents to give their child the best chance to be safe in the water.
A wonderful swimming time can be created by starting early in the educational process of your child. Children who are first exposed to water in their infancy are less fearful of it. Swimming also boosts self-confidence, setting a strong foundation for other areas. In addition to the thrill of aquatics, this program is about making music, playing games, making mum & dad proud and meeting new friends, all while learning. In this program, children learn and grow in a positive group learning environment with the people they trust most.
At SafeSplash schools nationwide, your child will learn how to swim. Sign up for swimming lessons for kids and toddlers at any time of the year, as we offer rolling start dates.
We teach lessons for children who are 6 months of age in group swims. SafeSplash's introductory classes for infants and toddlers start right at the beginning. We require you to be involved in our Parent Tot classes, participating in the water and calming, encouraging, and supporting your child.
Children who have passed the Mother Tot class will now move on to the Toddler Transition class, which is also aquatic. Our instructors work closely with children over 2 to provide them with a fun learning experience, helping them learn to swim independently. Parents can remain in the waiting area or join the pool.
Reviews Summary
SafeSplash Swim School has received outstanding reviews from several parents for the exceptional swim instruction their children have received. There is a low ratio of students to teachers , with up to 3 to 4 children in a class, and the learning is hands-on. Patience is one of the teacher's virtues, and they are thorough and patient in giving clear guidelines to the children. The children have developed and improved their swimming abilities and are more confident. Also, because the children have a lot of practice, they can swim unassisted. Highly recommended.
