Enrique was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. At four years old, his father told him that lawyers defend people who are wronged against. Since then, Enrique Sr. was his role model and encouraged Enrique to become a lawyer to correct injustices done to his clients by the legal system. Enrique grew up in the Lower Valley. He graduated from Bel Air High School, El Paso, TX. In 1987, Enrique attended an Ivy League University, a dream he struggled to achieve his whole life. He got a scholarship to Yale University, where he attained a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy in 1991. Enrique joined University of Texas at Austin School of Law for his legal education, which he completed in 1997. While in law school, he got inducted into the National Order of Barristers for his trial advocacy skills. After finishing law school, he moved back to his hometown, El Paso, TX. He started working at an employment, labor, and insurance defense firm. Hence, he is a licensed trial lawyer with 22 years of experience.
