El Paso County Community College District’s (EPCC) mission is to provide educational programs and services to enhance student quality of life and value to business, community, and government. El Paso Community College’s mission is to create accessible, affordable, and engaging opportunities that foster student success. EPCC offers a variety of educational programs and ways for students to succeed from entry to completion. Equity acknowledges the barriers students face in achieving their academic objectives. It works to eliminate those obstacles by intentionally including and removing them. Doing so will help students succeed and achieve their academic goals. Equity is about guaranteeing that all students are given the resources they need to progress, complete a degree, get transferred, and/or become employed.
