He had no assets, but he knew he had to start something. Johnson was on the ground and making calls because he didn't have office furniture. As Randy sat his friends down and told them about his new adventure, he was amazed by their support. His friends were all supportive and he was glad that he opened the jewelry store in El Paso because the city would back him up to be successful. Johnson Jewelers has grown significantly since its inception in 1996 and the company has only shifted from one room to a full-service jewelry shop in El Paso (Johnson Jewelers). Lundberg (2013) affirms that Johnson still has the energy and enthusiasm he had on his first day.
