Mitch Moss

Mitch Moss began his legal profession in El Paso as a briefing lawyer at the Eighth Judicial District Court of Appeals, with Justice of Court Court Ward Koehler. Mitch joined a small law firm the following year, starting his career as a trial lawyer. While working in small litigation firms over the next decade, he worked next to some of Texas's top trial lawyers. Mitch handled more than 80 cases throughout Texas and New Mexico. He managed most of these cases, including wrongful death, personal injury, and commercial disputes. The Texas Board of Legal Specialization certified Mitch in Personal Injury Trial Law in 2000. Mitch was hired at one of El Paso's oldest and largest law firms in 2003 to continue his development as a courtroom attorney. Mitch managed administrative and arbitration cases, including professional licensure and employment-related issues, and gained a lot of experience. Mitch was also a talented negotiator who reached many resolutions with opposing counsel. A colleague encouraged him to try mediation training. On January 1, 2018, Mitch resigned from his law firm to launch his own company, Moss Legal Group, PLLC. The firm was founded on the premise that regular customers would be treated with respect and efficiency and aimed to meet the goals of the firm.
