Micheal Flores plays God with peoples lives and children.. DAMAGING TO MY CHILDREN. This group was biased toward another party in my lawsuit. They broke their own policy and started leaving me off group emails with the other parties in 2023. These emails included the other person/persons, a court official appointed to the suit and Brighter Possibilities team therefore ostracizing me. A parent and party to the suit. Unethical by all appointed professionals. During an open CPS case they pushed one of my children into an emotionally traumatizing breakdown when they forced counseling between the party who she claimed hurt her. Brighter Possibilities saw my child for 1 session only to address the traumatic event. 1 hour only. Then the very next week they brought in the person she had anxiety towards. No preparation, no warning and no conversation. No group email either. I expressed my disappointment to the office and Jinohn Temple. A week after that, they once again did the exact same thing. Totally dismissive of my child's truth of what happened to her and her fear. My child refused to enter the building and cried and screamed in the parking lot for us to leave. Jinohn Temple told me over the phone “BE A PARENT!” , and demanding that I needed to force my child to enter their office even though she was terrified and hiding in a bathroom stall so I could go to office and see what was going on?? This group had decided that my little ones feelings were not valid because of how “they felt” , otherwise why do you force a person on a child like that? So destructive and harmful. My child cowered in the bathroom and was afraid to come out. It made me cry and i felt completely violated as a parent that this group had the power to force a face to face meeting without inform me or her. The CPS report was created by a highly respected member in our community and medical professional from Cook children’s and not by any family member. In other words they disregarded the child's personal recount of the event to them as well as Dr Eriel Hayes with Cook Childrens who did the interview alone without any family member present. This decision was made to preserve the validity. Regardless, Flores and Jinohn Temple forced not once but TWICE a meeting which has caused severe damage and anxiety to my child. Flores has made fun of me on 2 occasions in his office about how many lawyers ive had. I asked him point blank what context this has in his office and regarding my children? He said he was only “playing” That he was joking…(at my expense?). Its shocking that this type of joking is funny to him in a session where my kids have been severely injured. That’s appropriate? In another session where one of my children, too young to be getting the “thumbs up” and right in front of me on how to ve safe during sex. Flores said, “ You know what to do if you ever get in a “situation” right? You use protection !”.. Excuse me? That is not his job in anyway, shape or form. Especially not to a 14 year old at the time. That was not a boundary that was his to cross. I was forced to be with this group for over a year so Im speaking from experience. Brighter Possibilities was hired to help my children. They hurt them instead and we now have to continue even more counseling to unwind the lifetime of damage they caused. Flores is advantageous. He charged me 12 thousand dollars to take deposition. I dont know if that is normal in the therapy and counseling world so you tell me? Is $12,000 what you all paid with this group? The things that Michael Flores, Jinohn Temple and Kalima Charway have done to my family and my children are unforgivable and they should be held accountable by the board who governs over them. It important that people do not play God with other peoples families. Please contact me if you have questions about this group as there us too much to put here. And Please, for the sake of your children, do your research.
