It use to be a best clinic in the town, not anymore...Front desk decide who go first who could wait. We have to wait two hours locking in waiting room until I call for manager
If we could give a zero we would. At this time we can only rate customer service which is the worst I have ever seen. We have been sitting here for over 1 1/2 hours with no communication on when our dog who needs stitches will be seen. When we just asked receptionist we were scolded for asking. She refused to look up from her computer screen and spoke to us in a condescending manner and referred to me as "hon." We were dismissed and received excuses and told we could go somewhere else if we did not want to wait. All the while I see staff cutting up and a total disregard for customers. Please know we simply asked for an update and approximately when could our dog be seen. I can only assume the complete lack of customer service skills is due in part to the absence of any training and/or absence of any managers on duty at the time of our visit. BTW it is now well over 2 hours and we are still waiting. If our dog did not need stitches we would leave. Think twice before making this your first choice for emergency care.
DON'T COME HERE unless you want to be misdiagnosed & billed $280 for pills you NEVER actually brought home! The office staff obviously doesn't care whether you bought the meds; only chance to charge you for services/products NOT rendered or obtained.
They MISDIAGNOSED my dog. He had parvo and they wanted to give him wrong meds and wait a WEEK. It almost killed him, and they wrote in their paperwork that we took meds home - spoiler we did not! We went to cheaper (and apparently smarter) vet in River Oaks. There is NO excuse.
They also wanted $580 for simple bloodwork when their website said your first exam is free; not! It was $90.00. False advertising; WRONG medical diagnosis (most dangerous); on top of astronomical pricing.
Horrible service and the girl at the front desk had NO idea what she was doing, kept having to ask a supervisor: she even asked if my debit card was for College or Business. AFTER she ran it. HOW is it any of her business? ? ? It's not. I was shocked she asked. No one has ever asked me that before.
Super unprofessional (and incompetent) money grabbers. Charge you outrageously only because you love your pets, and they do not. They will bill you for things you only discussed getting and DID NOT actually take home. Horrendous.
I know vet clinics tend to charge a ton but but this was another level. It's already hard enough dealing with a sick pet; don't deal with these people on top of that.
It may mean the difference between life and death.
0/10.
Their prices have gone through the roof
We have used the PARC regularly as I have four dogs. However, we will not be using them anymore, as their service has just diminished extensively over the last few months. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes they have been great but the last couple times haven’t been so great and the care is lacking, to put it nicely. Don’t worry though, they will make sure to still overcharge you. Bad when you read reviews from former employees who even say the doctors are overcharging. We’ve lived all over the US and seen many different vets, and still keep in contact with our latest, who recommended (knowing the dog for three years since she was a puppy) that we go in and what he thought it was, for the PARC to charge us but not even doing an exam and the vet wasn’t in the room but 1 minute, maybe 2……. Don’t waste time or money, even for appts you’ll be sitting there forever.
Fancy animal hospital. A week ago my dog Ser, had to have emergency surgery to remove a corn cob, yes, he ate a corn COB!! And dogs are not able to digest the cob.
It was crucial that we make a decision otherwise it would have been fatal. My dog had been sick for over a week. The facility’s staff explained what all was needed and we agreed with their recommendations for surgery.
The surgery was successful and I’m thankful to the doctors there, they save my dog. However, my dog was sent home the very next day after what I understood was a serious surgery procedure. I called the second day and asked to speak with the physician, but I was told by the office staff that I could take Ser back in and that they would keep and monitor him for the day while I went to work.
Today is the ninth day since the procedure and my dog is recovering well. But I’m wondering why no one from the facility has taken the time to extend a courtesy call to check in on my dog??
After all I believe a simple follow up call should be included in the overall cost paid.
