It produced spot color jobs, two-color jobs and sometimes 4 colors, using thermography and offset and progressively learning to achieve high-end jobs using short-run color and direct imaging technology. Sales reached $49,600 in 1980, with $188,000 in 1981. Printing X-Press had realized a cumulative revenue of three million after 36 years of growth by 2015, which is the equivalent of the first year of annual sales and was attained within two days. The workforce grew from 4 to 20 employees, obtaining the best sales-to-employees ratio in Texas. Growth has been achieved through adapting new technologies and the ever-changing economy landscape.
