Stopped my application process immediately after completing all the data required to finally get to their provisions. They not only want a deposit equal to one month's rent, but another $500 to be used as "cleanup" that will NOT be refunded at the end of the lease term. What if the house is brand new, Huh? Many are......a money-making scheme. I have lived in a newly-built home as the first tenant for a year, and there is very little if any charges for cleanup. They say it is to clean the carpets...... most houses now have carpet only in the bedrooms. I have a friend with a Rainbow cleaning system that cleans better than any carpet cleaning service. I saw that ridiculous fee at the end of making the application and stopped dead in my tracks from sending the application with the application fees paid online by credit or debit card. What's the deposit for then, Huh? The real estate market is now full of crooked greedy management companies that use and abuse their lessee's in favor of their client owners. BE VERY CAREFUL when you are applying to lease a home......READ EVERYTHING!!
