I have always been a critic of home inspections and in the habit of critiquing the shortcuts that a lot of inspectors use that often get me into problems. For me some of my most untrustworthy contractors would sometimes even be bidding for these! All the great parts of construction come with the job of being a home inspector while avoiding or not being involved in any of the fun parts of managing someone else's constructions. It is also less hard on the body. That's why, in 30-40 years, I am hopeful to be in San Antonio inspecting houses.
