Samantha has over 15 years of expertise in marketing and communication, which includes TV, broadcast, and film. Samantha received a BS in Communication from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2005 and interned at Turner Studios in Atlanta, GA. While there, she was involved in many aspects of television production, including TBS's Movie and a Makeover, Dinner & A Movie, and Cartoon Network's Cartoon Fridays as a production assistant. She was subsequently hired as a production associate at San Antonio's ABC Affiliate KSAT 12 News, where she learned to edit, direct, and write television news stories. She also learned how to work under tight schedules every day. She also created her own newsreel, which helped her secure a job as a reporter at ABC 40 News in College Station. She was a one-man-band reporter for ABC 40 News and shot, edited, produced, and posted three to four stories every day. Samantha created HeartFire Media LLC as a Creative Marketing & Public Relations company in San Antonio, TX. The business is mainly concerned with the development, execution, and management of public relations and marketing campaigns.
