St Francis Nursing Home An independent, Catholic, and non-profit facility, St. Francis Nursing Home accepts Medicaid residents and private pay. Race, religion, disability, handicap, or national origin do not prevent anyone from receiving our healthcare services. Our healing work is based on the actions of Jesus; we offer compassionate love care that respects human life, dignity, and reverence. Our mission includes the whole person, namely the elderly, the handicapped, their families, and people in crisis. Our mission also focuses on spiritual services to promote wellness and restore and preserve health. In 1881, during the time when Poland was occupied by Russians, the Seraphic Sisters were born out of a need. They were silent and mystical when they began, but they have become embraced. They followed Saint Francis of Assisi's path and went to San Antonio to care for the destitute starting in 1970.

The nursing facility is highly regarded in the reviews and is said to offer high-quality care by keeping the environment clean and providing excellent assistance to residents. The staff's professionalism, kindness, and cooperativeness are points that most reviews mention, as are activities for residents who encourage involvement and formation of relationships. The family of a resident in the facility noted that over the years, there has been a significant improvement in the resident's health, which was not the case before visiting such a place. It is treasures meant for aging care. Many noted that the care given to their relatives is the best, and some stated that the food and religious activities in the home are excellent, which adds to the comfort and well-being of the patients. However, in one review, long waiting times due to the high demand for the services were mentioned as a significant challenge, and places are shortage, but the overall message of the comments confirms that the facility is the best and most conducive place for elderly care.
