University of the Incarnate Word-Northwest Center

The University of the Incarnate Word School of Professional Studies Northwest Center has classes for adults who are busy pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree. They also offer certification and continuing education courses, including SHRM Essentials, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Medical Billing and Coding, and more. In 1869, three young French sisters, the first Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word (the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word), arrived in San Antonio, Texas. The Sisters dedicated themselves to serving the sick and the homeless. The spirit of Christian service marks the University of the Incarnate Word, which is predominantly teaching and scholarship.
