XLR8 Driving School

XLR8 Driving School was established by a teacher, who is also a principal, and she developed the program. XLR8 Driving School has earned a reputation for adapting and modifying curriculum to meet the needs of students with learning disabilities and different learning modalities based on the teacher/principal’s experience in regular education and special needs teaching. It's this type of adaptation that makes the service stand out. The program includes modifications and adaptations that encourage and support the students. These include “checks for comprehension” or “comprehension checks,” text-tospeech, the opportunity to reread and relearn, and the inclusion of mini-lessons “Reduce anxiety, feelings of overwhelm and extra time for assignments.” It also features engaging videos, more white space, larger font sizes, hands-on activities, and colorful, engaging graphics that help students to be more engaged in the learning process. XLR8 Driving School is licensed and regulated by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations. XLR8 Driving School has met all the requirements of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations. These include 32 hours of classroom instruction, 14 hours of in-car instruction, and 30 additional hours behind the wheel.
