National Driver Training has teamed up with us to provide online classroom instruction for its students. This course fulfills the requirements set out by Virginia State Law for 36 classroom periods and the Virginia DMV classroom training.
Comprises at least 30 instructional hours and encompasses topics like alcohol awareness, drug awareness, aggressive and distracted driving, bicycle and pedestrian safety, parking for handicapped persons, fuel-efficient driving, motorcycle awareness, and organ donation, as dictated by law.
In Virginia, someone who is 15 years and six months can take an online driver education course. Anyone who elects to fulfill the classroom portion of their DMV-licensed driver education online must do so through an approved DMV driver training school. This provision does not affect homeschooled children.
Benefits of this are the ability to use a computer independently.
