Hello, my name is Bill Savage. I am a language teacher, traveler, and historian. Join me on my journey. A childhood love affair with languages I was captivated by a love story when I was only 6 years old. My first choice was German (I was taking it in my elementary school). I fell head over heels for this language. Learning a language was something I enjoyed, even as others did not see the fun in it. It was a game for me. I loved being lost in the language and its rules. It became an addiction as I learned more. My fascination with world history led me to understand that America does not reflect the world's true nature. I traveled widely in Western Europe, where my history, language, and culture passion was reborn. These languages are beautiful. They are fascinating in how they can be appreciated (more than just their grammar and words). It sounds like music notes being played in new and interesting ways. It feels like the world's best chocolate: the melody and harmony of the words and their rhythm. Italian is a universal language of music for a reason, and French is a cultured language. Learning languages is not just the words. It is about their beauty, history, and how they shape ideas. This side gives you a new direction. A more engaged traveler Learning French and Italian was amazing. It was very rewarding. Traveling was not the same as I mastered the language. It was as if I had been looking at the scenery from a flat window and could now walk through that landscape. Not only could you absorb the area, but you could participate in its scene and live a little. We owe it to communication, which has given us the opportunity to participate in our adventures. It creates memories that last. It allows you to see the world and its many dimensions. Our life is greatly enriched. Physical benefits I didn’t expect it, but there was a surprising effect after learning languages. I could feel my brain being rewired. The brain was changed and upgraded in important ways. I was essentially flexing muscles, and they formed stronger ones with each sentence. My brain was good at it. Language learning is a study that gives better neural connections. This was my experience. It made me more efficient, creative, and woke me up. This ability lasts forever. Studies show that learning languages improves cognitive functions and reduces brain aging. You can't just enjoy it. You will mature and grow from it. Sharing my passion
