BJ's Beauty & Barber College

Instructional Objective: BJ's Beauty & Barber College will give practical and theoretical experience to Barbering students and teach first aid. Also, the student will be cashier and reception. This information is beneficial in getting into barbering. Following 42 weeks of 1000 hours and passing chapter tests, the student will take the Washington State Board Exam. A minimum of 81% is required for both the practical and written exams. After completing all hours and meeting all requirements, the student will obtain a diploma from BJ's Beauty & Barber College. The student will take a multiple-choice examination for each unit upon completion. Students must achieve at least 81% in the final exam. To sustain satisfactory progress, a minimum of 81% must be attained. Instructional Techniques Combining a variety of instructional methods will be employed, such as demonstrations, lectures, and student participation. In-class demonstrations show that the instruction trainees have a deep understanding of the theory and how it applies to their classrooms.
