Huckleberry Forest Preschool of the Arts and Science was started in 2009. Our team of teachers and managers has many years of experience with preschoolers in Seattle. They come from various institutions to provide varied knowledge, experiences, and philosophies to this preschool. Their collective knowledge and experience are essential in establishing a successful preschool. Our experienced leadership team truly understands what works and how to implement it. Our director and lead teachers each have over 20 years of experience, while the average US preschool teacher has less than four years of experience. A perfect building is required to allow great teachers to create a safe learning environment and a loving atmosphere. After looking for more than a year, we were lucky to find one. Our classrooms are in separate areas, and we have a large common space for group meals. Our theatre, dance, and open spaces allow us to change stations between classes. The University Playground nearby is also convenient for our daily group outings. Our large indoor space also allows children to play and move freely when on recess.
