purchased a 2005 Nissan Murano for $8000 for my teenage daughter after her car was stolen. The car they sold me is a LEMMON. They claim they did not know that the car needed $7000 of repairs because it was a flooded car from out of state. Out-of-state cars are not required to list previous damages. Legally Legacy Auto Sales may have sold the car to me for my daughter BUT as far as integrity and good business practices they have none. They sell products before or choose to ignore they are functional and safe. Unfortunately, I was not present for the test driving of the car, I would have had a mechanic look over it. My daughter's dad was the adult who test-drove the car with her. I was told by the dealership it was a “good car” and good for my daughter. She drove it for two weeks total paid six months of car insurance and it just sits at a Nissan Dealer service shop that claims the car is No Good. I don't want another family to be taken advantage of by this shady used car dealership. However not all used car dealerships are shady, I purchased a car from Koda Motors ( Renton) and had an excellent experience.

Bought a car on 11/19. Took it for a routine oil change on 11/25 only to discover a major leak. Had to have over $1k in repairs done on a car we had less than a week. I asked specifically about oil and if it had been serviced at the dealer. During the purchase process, the salesman called the mechanic to confirm that he had looked at the car - "we have all of our cars checked out by a mechanic." I don't have the expectation that a used car be perfect and have no maintenance, but to have a car sold that clearly had a previously existing leak was disappointing. The nature of the leak was one that was getting worse with time, so it wasn't new. With so many positive reviews, our experience could be an anomaly, but I wouldn't purchase a car from this lot again unless I was a mechanic and could take care of maintenance for cheap on my own after I drove away.
