MadArt Studio

MadArt Studio is an exclusive opportunity for artists to respond to the particular aspects and idiosyncrasies of the place—MadArt Studio and its local area. This goes beyond the place and includes the broader social and cultural experience which constitutes our ever-evolving backgrounds and viewpoints today. MadArt is a non-profit organization which also connects artists with the public in innovative and meaningful ways. MadArt employs artists to create new work that stretches their practices and inspires the public. Our expansive studio in the city makes this possible. We welcome the public as we work, no matter what stage of completion, and offer ways for audiences to engage with artists at every turn. As an organization and individuals, we acknowledge the land on which we meet is the traditional territory of the Duwamish. The Duwamish people are the original stewards of this land. We recognize that this land has not been ceded and engage with programming that develops Indigenous voices and highlights their historical, present, and future existence.
