Studio e gallery is a contemporary art space that explores new creative frontiers through talks, exhibitions, and temporary on-site projects. It started in 2014 with Dawna Holloway, a long-time Georgetown resident, who wanted to push her limits and those of her community. It began as an opportunity to provide space and resources for emerging artists, but the relationships it has cultivated with them have made it a place-making project. Studio e seeks to reimagine the art gallery as a space that fosters conversation, a place for independent curators, such as Melissa E. Feldman, MAAKE Magazine, and our Micro-Gallery, The Vatican, or pop-up installation on Capitol Hill. Global and local in reach, it is like a retail space with the heart and creativity of an alternative gallery.

Reviewers are unanimous in praising the unique space, the variety of art it displays, and the of the Georgetown and Seattle arts community. Dawna Holloway's curatorial talent is praised. The art and relaxed atmosphere are especially suited to both experienced art patrons and novices, who always find something of interest. Art patrons can find much to love in this gallery in Seattle's south end.
