The process begins with an iTero scan to create virtual impressions and detailed intraoral images. This eliminates the need for messy, uncomfortable putty for impressions. Invisalign designs the aligners exactly to the specifications of Dr. Horwitz's detailed prescription. Dr. Horwitz uses 3-D controls to fine-tune the prescription so that Invisalign can effectively move teeth into their desired positions.
