Community Nursery School

Community Nursery School (CNS) is a state-licensed, non-denominational school that offers 2-4 sessions per week. There is no transportation or Day Care program available. CNS accepts children aged three to five. There is no discrimination based on race, color, or creed. It is a non-profit governed by a Board of parents. We partner with the Appleton Area School District and their 4K program for five-year-olds. Our mission is to provide your child with a kind and welcoming "first school" experience. Your student will be proud of themselves, talk to others and have exciting times with different activities. Our Three-year-old preschool classes (3-4years old) have two age groups. The other meets Monday mornings and Wednesday afternoons, while the other meets Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Each class will be together for 2 hours and 30 minutes week for the entire school year. Your child must be at least three years old on September 1 of the following school year. Our maximum class size is 14. Each teacher is responsible for his or her students and the class. Our Four-year-old preschool classes (4-5-year olds) have two age groups. One class meets mornings, and another in the afternoon. The size of each class is 19, and the classes are together for three hours and ten minutes four days of the week. Your child must be at least four years old by September 1. Each teacher is responsible for their allocated students.
