I had been employed by an insurance company for nearly 18 years and needed a new challenge. I desired a hands-on job where I could engage with individuals and help them feel better. After much searching, I was referred to the Fox Valley School of Massage (FVSM). This is a school with a small class size that guaranteed individual attention. I had tried several massages and concluded that this was a career I could do well in. I graduated from FVSM in June 2008 and operated as an Independent Massage Practitioner in a Chiropractor's office for six months. I founded Soothing Touch Massage & Bodywork, LLC in February 2009.
