Bright Beginnings Child Care

Welcome! My name is Tracy Vandertie Goltz. Bright Beginnings Childcare and Learning Centers are a family-owned business shared by Chad and me, as well as Zander, my older son, and Vann, my younger son. We have a lot of fun together and enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor activities throughout the year. We also actively participate in the boys' sports activities. We are also involved in watching movies together as a family. I started in the childcare profession when I was in high school. I continued this career through my college years. After I finished college, I began to teach full-time. I was then offered a job as a center director at a family-owned, local facility. I was in charge of this facility for six years until the owners passed. They sold their company to a corporation. I worked there for three additional years to fulfill my contractual obligations. Every teacher writes an activity plan for preschool. This plan is posted weekly in the classroom. I like to organize the activity plan by listing five areas of learning. In each area, a theme is introduced and the activities are labeled. Bright Beginnings provides each classroom with the theme and many resources (including themed art projects, science experiments, reading, and math activities). The curriculum is designed to match each theme. I developed this system to make planning easier and children always have something educational and fun to do. The high-quality staff is encouraged to give input and also to add their experiences and resources. We include many pre-writing and math activities for a wide variety of levels.
