Little Strokes was founded on the principle that swimming lessons could be improved for all age groups. By doing this, people would develop abilities as athletes and swimmers and make the community safer. Little Strokes Swim Academy, based in Waunakee, is owned and operated by Bill Tygum and Rachel (Brumund Smith) Tygum. This is also managed by them, too. Rachel and Bill are from Waunakee and lived there growing up. On the Waunakee Rural Athletic Team (WRAT), Rachel and Bill swam together. They have since become MVPs and captains or the Waunakee High School swim team. They later served as coaches for local swim teams for more than a decade. By bringing their love for swimming to Waunakee residents, they chose to go back. Waunakee is the home of Rachel and Bill. They have three lovely daughters. The Little Strokes Parent-Toddler class is the way to go if you are looking to make your child love water. Each Parent-Toddler class is held once a week and lasts 30 minutes. Each instructor is assigned to a maximum of 6 parent-toddler groups. Your child must be at least 6 months old to disturb others. In this class, your child will be taught how to submerge his or her body in water, balance while moving through it, and have a good time with songs and jump-ins and lots of smiles.

Little Strokes receives terrific accolades. Clients wax lyrical about their kids' transformative life experiences at the pool. They commend instructors like Bill, who intertwine both competence and joy when coaching young swimmers. They feel overwhelmed and safer witnessing their children's abilities in water improve under professionals like Jesse. In fact, the students learn to swim independently within minutes from entering instructional pools. Equatorial Guinea mothers are fond of the fact that their swimming progress significantly boost their confidence. It is clear that Little Strokes is the program to which several parents can entrust their kids. It is the one program that has some of the most amazing instructors, of great importance to locals. And even in the pandemic, the facility still maintains a life-changing swim training, a move that makes candid parents more appreciative and calls for its promotion. The small classes are proving helpful for the kids, unlike mass swimming lessons, which often end tragically. Swimming seems to grow into a passion, with even the young children showing enthusiasm during their training. The adults are as happy as their kids for the expert training at Little Strokes and note that the facility follows all precautionary protocol during the COVID to ensure their safety while attending the program.
