Molly A. Hinshaw, MD

Prof. Molly A. Hinshaw is a dual board-certified Dermatologist and Dermatopathologist. She is a Professor of Dermatology, the Section Chief of Dermatopathology, and the Director of the Nail Clinic at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She also leads the International Melanoma Pathology Working Group and is a consultant for the Melanoma Research Foundation. Dr. Hinshaw has a passion for education and leadership. This passion has led to a career of mentoring and advocacy within the field of dermatology. She has previously served as the President of the Wisconsin Dermatological Society and the Women’s Dermatologic Society (WDS). Dr. Hinshaw has also chaired committees and task forces for the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatopathology, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society. Currently, she serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Council for Nail Disorders. Prof. Hinshaw has created a wide variety of courses, workshops, and lectures for dermatologists, dermatopathologists, dermatology residents, primary care physicians, and medical students. Her areas of clinical interest and expertise are melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer and disorders of the nail.
