Over a million tail wags, purrs, and fun-loving pet interactions have happened since we first began wagging our tails with furry buddies. We think we have a good idea of what it works. Out-U-Go! It all began in 1996. If you're not sure, Oprah created her book club that year. The Spice Girls sold that year's best music. Everyone still used fax machines, beepers, and pagers in those days. Out-U-Go! Oak Park, a Chicago suburb known for Ernest Hemingway and Ray Kroc, was where Out-U-Go! was started. OUG! began. We were just a small company in the beginning. There were no grand business ideas drawn up in a corporate office boardroom. It all began as "one 6-foot leash and one 40-pound dog and one big dream." It wasn't easy. We didn't have much experience, but we were committed to providing the best care we could.
