The exhibitions feature works by member artists, as well as artists from Vancouver Island and Vancouver. Our newly renovated exhibition space is large enough to display contemporary art including painting, sculpture, mixed media, and drawing. Our team has over 12 years of experience in setting up art spaces where our members feel supported and safe. The artists who apply for an exhibition are assured a professional, respectful appraisal of their art and curation guidance in setting up their show. The responsibility for hanging and removing shows, as well as cleaning up afterward, remains with the artist. For information about acceptable practices for hanging and cleaning and remediation, please contact the management. Richard Pawley, Susan McArthur, and the other managers at Errant artSpace are focused on providing independent workspace for local artists while keeping costs reasonable. Our income is derived from the artist's work space and from exhibitions. No government funding or any other form of support is provided to us. The artist receives all sales from the exhibition.

Peter Van Giesen believes that art should be shared and the journey of an artist is communal. He invites artists to exhibit their work and sometimes, to assist with the operation of the gallery. I have held executive positions and consulting jobs in more than 45 different industries, including marketing, tourism, and transportation. The variety and creativity were great.

Beverley Thomson is an artist and printmaker who was born in the foothills of Alberta, Canada. Her artistic inspiration comes from the global environment. Her creative work has been influenced by her extensive travels and international experience. Beverley loves the beautiful landscapes of different countries. Bev has a Waldorf Education degree from the Steiner Centre, Toronto, and a Laval University in Quebec City. She worked as both a Waldorf school class teacher and a Waldorf movement teacher. In this capacity, she has extensively taught children and adults the 8-year curriculum for class teachers and art. She worked with Newcomers and artists from a variety of backgrounds to create a project called Stories. Bev taught Waldorf Teacher Training and classes for adults and children in Canada, China Malaysia Thailand, and Thailand in the last few years. The other subjects include printmaking, painting, Bothmer Gymnastics, and spatial dynamics. Traveled to Africa, Asia, and Europe. Living in Switzerland, Nepal, and Mali. French, Nepali, and a little Nepali. Bev spent time in Nepal where she developed her etchings and prints at Atelier II, the Atelier II studio of renowned artists Uma Shankar and Dr.Seema Shah. She has opened a studio on Victoria Island, and one in Maple Bay. The following shows have been held on Vancouver Island by her: Cowichan Fine Arts Show, Ground Zero Printmakers, Robert Bateman Galleries, POG, Sooke Fine Arts show, Unseen Studio Tours-Studio 553, Studio 553, and Visions.
