Skinner & Associates Customer Feedback Summary Very helpful, but the communication was absolutely appalling; I have called numerous times and had received no return calls. Skinnier & Associates is unprofessional and has a lack of communication, choosing not to return phone calls. It took Skinner’s and associates two years to have a simple bequest completed. I am not recommending skinner and associates, as it is a sheer waste of time and money. Great disappointment. Bitter disappointment! Avoid at all costs! Most unprofessional! It's all about the $$$. Wasted my time! Wasted my money! Two nasty male lawyers; owner and his male sidekick. Female secretary assistant rude, rude. Email replies are a copy and paste, with varying font sizes. Walked out of there paying $thousands after they did absolutely nothing to help me. Extremely ticked off!!!! A huge thank you to Simone, Graham, Paris & Kim from Skinner & Associates, whom welcomed this first home buyer with warmth and professionalism. From the moment I called to assess their services, I knew I had chosen the right firm to represent our interests. I'd had a less than favourable experience with another conveyancer that made me feel as if they had no time for me and were doing me a favour in answering my very first call, so it was a pleasant surprise when Simone answered on the third ring and immediately made me feel like a valued customer. In the first instance, Simone made me feel like I could trust Skinner & Associates and a few moments later I was speaking with Paris, whom confirmed it for me. As a first home buyer with no experience in real estate, I was looking for a local firm that was very experienced and also had solicitors available to discuss any legal matters that could possibly arise. How I came to choose Skinner & Associates was via their Google review's and although they weren't rated at five stars at the time I was searching, it was the content of their REVIEW's that convinced me to give them a call; and I'm very glad I did. The greatest asset of any business is their people and all the people that I dealt with at Skinner & Associates were and are in my view, of the highest calibre. They provided a valuable service to my family and I and one of the most impressive things was their speed of communication; calls, email's and questions were answered promptly and explained in a way that was easily understood, not condescending as I had previously experienced with other legal firms. Another thing that was very impressive was that they weren't overly concerned about ramming their fee's down our throats, which had been another unsatisfactory experience I'd had previously when dealing with another legal firm; and as a matter of fact, their estimate of their fee's turned out to be higher than their actual cost! Graham's knowledge and experience as a conveyancer is brilliant and he made things very easy for us. Paris was fantastic to deal with and made me feel confident every step of the way, her attention to detail was superb, she anticipated what we were looking for and exactly how to achieve it in the shortest possible time. Having Kim available to assist my family through the contract signing procedure and to advise me regarding laws pertaining to them, was very comforting. The whole process was done and dusted inside one month, from when our offer was accepted by the vendor, to contacting Skinner & Associates whom had contracts ready for signature within two week's then myself picking up the key's for our new home two week's after contract’s were exchanged. Granted, we have been very fortunate with all the assistance provided to us from various other's, however, it was the team at Skinner & Associates that facilitated all the pieces together in a very timely manner for us and all involved stakeholders. As far as I'm concerned going forward, Skinner & Associates are our family's firm of choice for all matters in both legal and conveyancing and I have no reservations in recommending them to anyone looking for the best firm to represent them. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GETTING WILL AND FINAL TESTAMENTS DONE BY THESE LAWYERS! I'm terribly unhappy with manner Skinner and Associates are choosing to handle my grandmothers final wishes, as she would be also since she paid for you services. I was supposed to be inheriting money over two years ago, and still nothing!!! I’ve called them 10+ times over the last two years in regards to this issue. Furthermore have sent multiple emails and still have heard nothing. Will someone actually do their job and inform me what is going on. Skinnier and Associate incompetents is uncouth and needs to be recognised. We have utilised conveyancing through Graham Gould over many years. Has been an excellent service. My family has used Skinners and Mr David Skinner is a professional, a gentleman, and an excellent Solicitor. You won't be disappointed. Good service, customer friendly Easy to deal with. Very informative and helpful with legal advice and support.. Good value. I had egg and bacon roll plus coffee. Great view of the Murray River. Highly recommend.
