About this business

Customer feedback summary: 1. 2.5 years in counting for a probate matter!! ‍ Edit: “management” is the issue and my families complaint got us nothing but additional fees. Marion provided us with a number of excuses for the delays and charged for each one. She even charged us for a rectification of an error that she made. It felt like the delays and errors are just a way to claim as much as possible from estates!2. Great experience with Philip - extremely helpful and personable.3. I’ve had a very upsetting experience with Cynthia regarding family law for adoption. First I had a consult, and was told it would be $199. I was charged almost $500 for the consult. They did not tell me upfront that the consult was only 30 minutes. They did not disclose upfront that they’d be charging an hourly rate past the 30 minutes. So for a 50 minute consult, I was hit unexpectedly with a nearly $500 bill. That is not transparent. Then after the consult I emailed asking to hold off on any further action, and asked if Cynthia handles guardianship cases. I then received a $92 bill because she emailed me back. From my experience working with other attorneys, that should have been a simple yes or no answered by office staff. I’ve tried to dispute these overcharges and have been unsuccessful. It’s been a terrible experience.4. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "I recently used McNamara for my property purchase, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Jacquie. From the start, she was professional, efficient, and incredibly knowledgeable. Jacquie guided me through the entire process with ease, ensuring every detail was covered. Communication was consistent and clear, with regular updates that kept me informed of any developments. I especially appreciated Jacquie's responsiveness to my questions and the way they broke down complex legal terms into understandable language. It truly made the experience stress-free. The fees were transparent and competitive, with no hidden costs, which is something I value immensely. I felt supported throughout the entire transaction, knowing that I was in capable hands. I highly recommend Jacquie to anyone seeking reliable and expert property conveyancing services. She truly made what could have been a daunting process seem straightforward and hassle-free. Thank you for helping me find and secure my dream home!"5. "My experience with McNamara and Associates has been deeply disappointing. As representatives of the purchaser in the sale of my small business, they demonstrated consistent unhelpfulness and a notable lack of communication—both within their team and with the purchaser and my solicitors. What should have been a straightforward transaction was unnecessarily prolonged for months, causing significant stress and affecting both my physical and mental well-being. Their disorganization resulted in repeated delays, confusion, and exorbitant additional legal fees. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend McNamara and Associates to anyone seeking timely and professional legal services."6. If you are selling your property and you need a real professional, then I would suggest Lauren McNamara. Lauren took care of the legalities for my elderly mothers property very smoothly and with a minimum of fuss. She made time with her already busy schedule, to make home visits on two separate occasions, when requested on such a short notice. She was very kind to my mother and explained everything very clearly to her. Above all we appreciated Lauren’s extremely kind and pleasant manner and I would not hesitate in referring anyone needing a conveyancer to her.7. Lauren and the team are understanding, compassionate and highly professional. Its a stressful, crazy time buying real estate but Lauren really made the process seamless. Thanks Lauren, I will definitely send friends and family your way if they need help.8. Neil and the team were very professional and attentive to our needs. Within one meeting he showed a clear understanding of our issue and laid out a plan to sort it. This left us with peace of mind and knowledge that we had a roadmap to a solution. couldn't praise the team enough.9. Have worked with Lauren on a professional level for many years.
