After my first call with their team to understand what they do and their charges, I was recommended to complete a questionnaire. Until that step, the process of the sale would not begin. I did not fill in the questionnaire and did not want to proceed. After a week, I received a follow-up call and specifically stated I did not want to move forward. I have now received an invoice from Petersen Westbrook for “searches”. I never asked for any searches, and from what I was told, this should not have started until I completed the questionnaire. When I asked them to retract the invoice, they claimed I gave my permission, which I did not. They refused to acknowledge my point and insisted on charging me for work I never requested. I felt pushed into using them, and I strongly advise against this firm. They invoiced me for services I did not need, want, or anticipate. Incredibly frustrating and disappointing.
