When we arrived the dentist stepped out personally to apologize for a tiny delay, which was very thoughtful. He was extremely personable and interacted with our family in a very professional and calming way. My son had three teeth extracted and felt no pain at all. Dr Malik went through everything with my son step by step and made a great effort to make him comfortable throughout. I was so impressed that I made him our family dentist. I have since taken appointments for myself and my daughter, and each visit has been as good. The environment is professional without feeling anxiety-inducing, and everyone is warm and inviting. Every place I called was either closed or fully booked. Google maps showed universal smiles dental in Mernda open, I called them and the receptionist understood the urgency and severity straightaway. She gave me an appointment for 6pm the same day. The first-time job card filling was all digital and within minutes I was done. Dr. Irfan was kind to collate my options and assist with a decision on what to do, and we had a way forward with a temporary solution very quickly. The nurse was also proactive in suggesting what colour of filling would best match, and also very delicate in her approach. At around 7:20pm I was done, the prices were reasonable, relevant items were added for private health insurance for a maximum refund.
