Defining itself as a profession is what CAF Ethos is all about. Ethos, or the distinctive spirit or beliefs of an organization, culture, or community, is made up of 17 elements for the Canadian Armed Forces. The three ethics principles, six values, and eight expectations are combined. Every member of the CAF and the Department of National Defence team (DND) has the right to work in an atmosphere of mutual respect and dignity and where they can contribute to and reach their maximum potential.

The reviews are overwhelmingly positive, sharing the value of the support and information that one gets from the organization and its members, starting with very specific anecdotes. Venturing further into specifics, there are numerous instances where individuals seek information and receive a hitch-free tour through the organization and its activities, ultimately endorsing it. There are two satisfied customers and a delighted repeat client seeking continuity in the same emails to evaluate and reinforce the quality of the service received. They conclude that joining the organization would lead to more opportunities for hands-on experience and friendship that could change one's life thoroughly. In retrospect, the author of some reviews would recommend the organization as useful advice, especially for high school and college graduates.
